Dramo from Caracas, directed by its choreographers Miguel Issa and Leyson Ponce. Ponce started the 90’s specializing at the Folkwang in Essen, and experimented with new European choreographers. He bring us the delicate topic of a well cared for homoerotic relation.
Men in connection with the suffering of Christ in the Cross. A daring endeavour in a country of catholic conscience, the audience is hardly allowed to breathe. Issa brings a piece for three women and four men, a very hot work. Issa’s and Ponce’s company know about theatre. A small but strong group with new dancers who got their start in this project five years ago, with the birth of the University Dance Institute.
